The campaign

A nation of readers, built one magazine at a time.

Working with partners including Immediate, DC Thomson, Future, Kennedy Publishing, Story House Egmont, Storytime, Hoopla, Creature & Co. and Howzat, we're distributing more than 70,000 magazines through National Literacy Trust hubs across the UK - alongside charities like The Children's Book Project and Book Bank Charity.

Together, we're helping ensure children have access to fun, engaging reading wherever they are. And 20 schools will receive 250 magazines, with one winning a £1,000 Golden Ticket to spend on reading resources.

Magazines are part of a 'literacy menu' that can foster a culture of reading amongst children, drawing them in with content they find fun and engaging. Research also shows this plays an important role in developing empathy.
